Brief description of experience:

The pre-service teachers, working under the direction of a classroom teacher, tutor students individually or in small groups. Students attend an orientation meeting with the clinical associate prior to the start of the experience. Students visit the schools for one hour per week for a ten week period of time. The days of the week and designated hours are flexible to accommodate both the classroom teacher's need for assistance and the ECED 3131 student's class schedule.

Classroom teachers are responsible for scheduling the classroom/school activities for the pre-service teachers: alerting the clinical associate, field associate, and/or ECED 3131 instructor of problems; and completing a brief, five question evaluation form on the pre-service teachers at the end of the ten week experience.
