A Message From the Principal
As we begin the 2000-2001 school year, the faculty and staff of Twin City Elementary are excited
because our new facility is complete and we can begin a new journey of providing a "BETTER
THAN NECESSARY" educational program for all our students. Over the past years our students have
performed well, our teachers have provided quality instruction, and our parents and community have been supportive of our efforts. For this, I am mowt
grateful; but if we are to prepare our children for the challenges of the ever-changing world of the 21st
century, we must be better.
The Faculty and Staff of TCE are committed to this goal and we pledge to you that all our energies
and efforts will be devoted to increasing student achievement. It is our strong belief that all our students can do better.
Sincerely,
Von Johnson, Principal
Vision Statement
Believing that education is the foundation for a better life, the faculty and staff of Twin City Elementary School will strive to provide a solid educational foundation for each of our students in an instructional environment where he/she will become a productive, responsible member of our community. We will strive to recognize the uniqueness of each learner by using a variety of instructional methods in order for each student to reach his/her full potential. Maintaining a constant link with the ever-changing world in which we live, we will utilize the "basics of education" to encourage internal motivation, pride, accountability, and the value of life in each of our learners. The success of our vision depends upon the active participation, cooperation, and support of the home, the school, and the community, working as a team for a better tomorrow.
